Unlike Warband, Bannerlord is not Mount & Blade+. Maybe for the best to let it stand on its own instead of holding it to the standards of Warband. Also as Tuidjy said. The game has in both instances (original and warband) staggered out awkwardly and took some time to gain its footing.
People need to seriously go back and play bare bones vanilla Warband and get a harsh reality check. Saying this game has less content and "things to do" than unmodded Warband is just so laughable to me. Feasts are an absolute meme and I cant believe people consider that a core defining feature of Mount and Blade
